Perched on the dramatic ocean bluffs of La Jolla, the new UC San Diego Theatre District Living & Learning Neighborhood addresses a critical challenge in contemporary campus design, fostering student success in an era of increasing loneliness and anxiety. Tours will traverse the 10-acre site that includes 2,000 undergraduate beds, classrooms, a meeting center, a Market Hall, and retail spaces. Experience a holistic approach to student wellbeing as you stroll through a meandering restorative ecological corridor featuring a meditation pavilion and three thematic zones supporting physical, mental/spiritual, and social wellness, framed by five dynamic residential buildings ranging from nine to 21-stories.
Tours limited to 25 people per tour. Reservation required.
