The West Project

The West Project is a $400 million downtown tower currently under construction on the site of the former San Diego County superior Courthouse. Slated for 37 stories at 334 feet tall, West (once called Courthouse Commons) will combine commercial space, office space and multi-family housing.

West is being built by Holland Partner Group based in Vancouver, Washington, and the Japanese company North America Sekisui House, whose U.S. headquarters are in Arlington, Virginia.

Carrier Johnson + Culture is the architect. Holland Construction is the general contractor, and Lowe is managing the office development side of the project.
