How can you help as a day-of-event volunteer?
As day-of event volunteer, you will be providing assistance to site locations participating in the event that are available to the public. The assistance of volunteers is vital to making Open House San Diego happen and is greatly appreciated.
How can you help as a pre-event volunteer?
As pre-event volunteer, you will be delivering posters, postcards and marketing materials to San Diego areas and neighborhoods from March 5-13. The time is flexible and can be done on the weekend if desired.
What would I have to do?
Our volunteers ensure our visitors have the best possible experience.
The responsibilities of an OH!SD volunteer includes:
● Providing visitors with a positive and memorable experience of the OH!SD event
● Being active on social media, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram etc.
● Set up OH!SD promotional material and hand out information as required for your specific site
How many volunteers are involved?
We anticipate at least 30 volunteers to distribute materials and 100 volunteers will be necessary to staff the 50 sites open in 2022.
How much time do I have to commit?
On the weekend of OH! San Diego - A minimum one 3-4 hour shift on one day during the event on March 19-20. All volunteers will be supplied with site specific instructions and information.
Before OH! San Diego - March 5-13 - Distribute posters and postcards to areas neighborhoods around San Diego. Materials will be supplied.
